I’m Ally, a photographer based in Croydon, South London with a love of all things photography, business, coffee, books, running & the great outdoors.
I take photos for a living, helping businesses to tell their brand story with creative photography. Illustrating who they are, what they do & how they do it. You can find out more about my work thing here.
I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love being creative, I love that I’ve turned a childhood hobby into a successful career & I love the flexibility of being my own boss.
When I am not taking photos, I run. A lot & a long way. I’m a trail & ultra runner at heart. I like mud & hills & climbing & jumping over things. I don’t like roads or tarmac.
I am an England Athletics & UESCA-qualified running coach & am part of the coaching team at Striders of Croydon, my running club.
Photography & running form part of my identity. I am happiest with my running shoes on my feet or my camera in my hand. I dream of combining the two.
I don’t carry a camera when I run. All the photos (that I have taken) that I post on this blog are shot & edited on my iPhone.
